Happy Halloween

I drew another Detective Conan. When I added the Halloween background (not mine), I realized that the shadowing of my drawing was not correct, but it was too late to change it because I already made the edits and felt too lazy to look for another background with the full moon on the left side! UGH! Anyway, none of my drawings is perfect, but it's fine. I'm still learning after all! :D



This one, of Ai Haibara / Shiho Miyano, I drew last Friday. She's my favorite Detective Conan character. :)

My Attempts at Drawing a Manga

I drew this a couple of weeks ago. The left side is the newest of the two. I love Detective Conan! You learn a lot about Japanese history, culture, and solving cases. :) I'm trying to get better at this, seems like the more I practice, the better I get. But I'm too busy lately to draw anything new.

Sisterly Love - Inspirational Children's Story

1) A little girl picks up, then empties her wash bag.
Note her longish hair in this picture











2) The little girl cuts her own hair. How can this be sisterly love?











3) This is the result of her do-it-yourself haircut











4) The little girl's parents look horrified, especially her mother.
Note, for the first time we see her brother. How can this possibly be an act of sisterly love?











5) This is the crucial scene, the little girl gives brother the hair which she has just cut.












6) In this touching example of sisterly love, here's the final scene.











We can reveal that the brother has cancer and has just returned from hospital where he has received chemotherapy. One side-effect is that the poor brother has gone bald. What more poignant way for the sister to demonstrate her love than to cut off her hair and give it to him.

I can't believe I haven't watched the movies yet. No wonder, the German release date of the 1. movie was 2007, I just came back to Germany then. This was my favorite anime when I was younger; I used to watch the series with my little brother and mother before. :)
